Babwani Technologies LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the InnerBloomin mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our app.

InnerBloomin is an AI voice journal designed to help you master your mental fitness through daily reflection and AI-powered insights.

2. Information We Collect

Voice Recordings and Journal Entries:

• Voice recordings you create in the app
• Language of your recordings (99+ languages supported for Premium users)
• Transcriptions of your voice recordings (processed by AI services)
• AI-generated responses and insights in your chosen language
• Detected emotions from your reflections
• Journal entry metadata (dates, times, duration, language)
• Your journey progress and milestones

Device Information (Minimal):

• Device type and iOS version (for compatibility)
• App version (for support purposes)
• No analytics or tracking data
• No crash reports or diagnostic data
• No usage statistics or behavioral tracking

Notification Preferences:

• Your chosen notification times (morning and midday)
• Notification enable/disable settings
• All notifications are local (not tracked or monitored)

Subscription and Purchase Information:

• Subscription tier (Free or Premium)
• Daily reflection count (for usage limits)
• Reflection pack purchases (one-time add-ons for Free users)
• Language preference (for multilingual support)
• Purchase history and transaction records (managed by Apple)
• We do not collect credit card or payment details - all handled by Apple

What We DON'T Collect:

• ❌ No crash reports or diagnostics collected by us

Note: Apple may collect basic diagnostic data on our behalf as part of the iOS platform. We do not use or access this data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• Process your voice recordings and generate transcriptions (via OpenAI Whisper API)
• Provide AI-powered insights and responses using intelligent multi-model processing (Anthropic Claude and OpenAI GPT)
• Track daily reflection usage to enforce tier limits (5 for Free, unlimited for Premium)
• Manage AI model selection based on subscription tier and daily usage
• Store your journal entries locally on your device
• Display your emotional journey and progress visualizations
• Send local push notifications for daily reflections (if enabled)
• Manage your subscription status (Free or Premium)
• Provide customer support when you contact us

4. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage (Primary):

All your journal entries, voice recordings, and personal data are stored locally on your device using Core Data with encryption. This data never leaves your device except when explicitly sent to AI processing APIs.

No Cloud Backup:

InnerBloomin does not use iCloud or any cloud backup services. Your data remains exclusively on your device. If you delete the app or lose your device, your data cannot be recovered.

Important: We strongly recommend manually backing up your device using iTunes or Finder if you wish to preserve your InnerBloomin data.

AI Processing (Temporary):

When you create a reflection:

• Your voice recording is sent to third-party AI services for transcription
• The transcription is processed by AI services to generate insights and responses
• The specific AI model used may vary based on availability, performance, and subscription tier
• These services process your data temporarily and do not store it permanently under enterprise agreements
• We use enterprise-grade APIs with data processing agreements that prohibit training on your data
• Your voice recordings are processed transiently and not retained after transcription

Security Measures:

• Your data is protected by iOS's built-in encryption and secure sandbox environment
• HTTPS/TLS encryption for all API communications
• No central database storing your journal entries
• iOS security model isolates app data from other apps
• Secure authentication for API requests
• Regular security updates

5. Third-Party Services

AI Processing Services:

We use third-party AI services to process your voice recordings and generate insights. The specific providers may include:

• Voice Transcription: Enterprise AI services that convert speech to text with no-training data agreements
• Insight Generation: Advanced AI models that analyze your reflections and provide responses
• Model Selection: The specific AI model used may vary based on availability, performance, and your subscription tier

All AI providers operate under enterprise agreements that:

• Process data temporarily without permanent storage
• Do not use your data to train AI models
• Comply with GDPR and CCPA requirements
• Use encryption for data in transit

Current AI service providers: OpenAI (Whisper, GPT), Anthropic (Claude). This list may change as we optimize service quality.

Apple Services:

• Apple StoreKit: Manages subscriptions and in-app purchases
• Apple Push Notification Service: Delivers local notifications (no data sent to Apple servers)
• iOS Platform Services: Apple may collect basic diagnostic data as part of the iOS platform

These services have their own privacy policies:

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We DO NOT:

We ONLY share information:

• With AI processing services (OpenAI, Anthropic) to provide app functionality
• When required by law, court order, or legal process
• To protect rights, property, or safety of users or others
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (users will be notified and given choice to delete data)

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have complete control over your data:

• ✅ Access all your journal entries anytime within the app
• ✅ Delete individual entries or all data at once
• ✅ Export your data if and when this feature becomes available
• ✅ Disable notifications completely or customize times
• ✅ Cancel Premium subscription anytime (no penalty)
• ✅ Uninstall the app to permanently delete all local data
• ✅ Request confirmation that AI services do not retain your data

8. Children's Privacy

InnerBloomin is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring their children's use of the app.

9. Data Retention

We retain your information as follows:

• Local device data: Retained until you delete it or uninstall the app

• Voice recordings: Deleted immediately after transcription
• Support emails: Retained for 2 years for customer service records

When you uninstall the app:

• All local data is immediately deleted from your device
• We do not retain copies of your journal entries
• Subscription status is managed by Apple (you can cancel through App Store)

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

• Right to know what personal information is collected
• Right to know if personal information is sold or disclosed (we do not sell data)
• Right to access personal information (available within the app)
• Right to delete personal information (available within the app)
• Right to opt-out of sale of personal information (we do not sell data)
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising CCPA rights
